At 9:58 AM on December 29, 2022, the Phase I expansion air separation project of Dexin Steel Indonesia was successfully commissioned and brought into operation. All parameters are running normally and product quality meets the required standards.
The 7# and 8# air separation units are each capable of producing 30,000 Nm³/h of oxygen, 50,000 Nm³/h of nitrogen, and 1,100 Nm³/h of argon. The production process adopts the advanced external compression process, and all major equipment utilizes high-end domestic and international technologies. The air separation plants feature high safety standards, reliable operation, strong operability, low energy consumption, and high argon extraction rates.
Under the strong coordination and support of the owner, the air separation units successfully completed single-unit commissioning and integrated trial operation on December 20.
The Dexin Steel Phase I expansion air separation project commenced construction on December 6, 2021. After one year of dedicated efforts, the successful startup marks a significant milestone. It not only alleviates the gas supply shortage for various processes in Dexin Steel's Phase I operations, but also ensures gas supply readiness for the maintenance of the 4# air separation unit and the overall Phase I expansion projects.
